 Angeles National Forest Angeles National Forest is situated in the San Gabriel Mountains above Los Angeles. Filmed segments of "The Henry Comstock Story" were shot on location at the Mount Waterman region on June 29th, 1959. The cast and crew didn't have to spend the night since it was close to Los Angeles. This was the only episode of the series that was filmed at this national forest
