       This large grass valley is located directly below Mount Pinos Summit, in the Los Padres National Forest.  Portions of eleven's "Danger Road" were filmed at the valley in fall of 1969, for the climactic wagon race, while other shots were done at the summit region above it.  The last episode to have filmed portions at the valley was thirteen's "Cassie", in which several shots were filmed of the horse race in May 1971.  The other portions of this episode were shot at the summit region above the valley that year.
