Mescal

The Mescal region was used in a few episodes, notably, twelve's "The Power Of Life and Death" and fourteen's "The Hunter". One filmed cut is seen in twelve's "The Power Of Life and Death" where the posse rides up and have lunch at the adobe barracks in act one. Also, in a scene with Lou Frizzell and another actor at a town set was filmed at Mescal. The last episode it was featured in, was fourteen's "The Hunter". The scene where Tom Skerritt dismounts from his horse at the adobe barracks and shoots down the Mexican and than pets his dog was filmed at Mescal. The very last scene in the climax of "The Hunter" where Michael runs into the deserted town was also filmed at Mescal, truly, a masterpiece on film. Finally, segments of thirteen's "The Grand Swing" were filmed in Mescal at the town set.
